Website of the State Mining Administration with information for producers, sellers and members of the general public about making available of certain chemical products ( explosives precursores) was activated on 6th January 2015.

 

 

 

The activities of this department in the economic sphere are as follows:

  1. a) Provides accounting for the entire State Mining Authority.
  2. b) Devises a budget and the final account of the budgetary chapter 348 of the state budget and the overall usage of budget resources of the State Mining Authority.
  3. c) Keeps accounts in accordance with relevant legislation and the subject regulations issued by the the Czech Mining Authority.
  4. d) Keeps comprehensive records of payments of mining areas and certain excavated minerals and records of payments to the state budget.
  5. e) Ensures the conceptual and methodological activity of the central authority within the designated realm, with nationwide competency and within the State Mining Authority.
  6. f) Coordinates accounting operations and implements contacts while managing funds appointed for the year with the governments of the Czech Republic, the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic, ,the Czech Statistical Office and possibly other authorized entities.

 

The activities of this department in the trusteeship sphere are as follows:

  1. a) Ensures the internal functionality of the Czech Mining Authority, operation, maintenance, cleaning and security of the office building.
  2. b) Keeps the company agenda and secures its permanent filing.
  3. c) Secures the operation of computer systems for the needs of the State Mining Authority.
  4. d) Carries-out purchases of tangible and intangible assets, keeps relevant records and carries-out liquidation.
  5. e) Ensures the operation of company cars.
  6. f) Records, monitors and provides continuous payments for the usage of energy, water, gas, rent, etc. Throughout the entire the State Mining Authority.
  7. g) Provides reprographic work,
  8. h) Participates in budget building in the areas of investment, care of tangible investment assets and its proper inventory, acquisition of small investment assets, forms, office supplies, norms, print periodicals and other items related to services and expenses of a non-manufactured nature.

 

Insures the performance of supreme supervision over operational safety, safety and protection of health during work, underground fire protection and work conditions during:

  1. a) Searching, exploration, opening and mining to deposits, safety and destruction of mine works in the underground, incl. Leaching, excavation of oil and gas, drilling and geophysical works and during surface excavations of brown coal.
  2. b) Unique interventions into the earth's crust when securing and disposing of old mine works, incl. their safety maintenance.
  3. c) Securing and disposing of mining works built for the functions set out by a)
  4. d) The establishment and operation of waste piles and dumps, especially while carrying out the activities listed in a).
  5. e) Engineering-geological and hydro-geological surveys of the underground.
  6. f) Mechanical drilling of boreholes deeper than 30m.
  7. g) Collection of natural curative and table mineral waters in mine sites underground
  8. h) Underground works carried-out in a mining way while excavating trenches and wells, galleries and tunnels and other underground areas with a capacity over 300m3.
  9. i) Work securing the stability of underground spaces
  10. j) Work enabling access to caves and work related to their maintenance in a safe state
  11. k) Mining rescue service operations

Oversees the functionality of mining rescue stations, sets their location and the area of their competency,

Verifies professional competency and issues certificates for commercial mines, certificates (ID’s) for chief mine surveyors, revision technicians and technical experts, and verifies professional competency of lead workers of main mining rescue stations,

Observes and prepares precautions in areas of injury and accidents, namely accidents and break-downs of technical equipment,

Keeps records of fatal, severe or group injuries and operational accidents, as well as records of commercial mines, certain technical experts, workplaces and institutions, revision technicians of certain technical equipment and project engineers of certain technical equipment, which they have been given certifications for,

Carries-out inspections of mine survey documentation,

Performs tasks in the development and harmonization of technical norms, cooperates in the drafting of rules for the demonstration of conformity between products and technical equipment.

 


 

Ensures supreme supervision over work safety of organizations carrying-out mining activities or activities carried-out in a mining way during surface mining, manufacturing and handling of explosives throughout the civilian sector (excl. Army, Police, etc.).

Ensures supervision over the protection of mineral wealth.

Verifies professional competency and issues certifications for commercial quarries with a yearly excavation of valuable minerals over 500thousand tons and the technical director of blasting.

Permits the import, export and transfer of explosives within the Czech Republic.

Carries-out inspections of geological documentation.

Keeps collective records of mining sites, issued licences and certifications of chief blast technicians and commercial quarries with a yearly extraction over 500thousand tons.

Maintains evidence of financial reserves for the redevelopment and re-cultivation of grounds effected by mining and mine damage.

Discusses proposals for the reduction of reserves of exclusive deposits in the design development of mines and quarries and while mining exclusive deposits.

Coordinates measures of the the District Mining Authorities towards the efficient management of exclusive deposits while implementing entrusted licensing activities.

Cooperates with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic when reducing reserves.

Cooperates with the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic when examining geologists.

Administers the Informational system of the State Mining Authority, updates its data and ensures the presentation of the State Mining Authority in the National Information system of the Czech Republic.

Provides for presentational and graphic needs of the State Mining Authority institutions,

Publishes the the State Mining Authority newsletter and processes data for the Mining Yearbook.

Ensures press monitoring for the needs of the State Mining Authority.

Cooperates with the Czech Proof House fro Arms and Ammunition in real estate matters.
